Gunship

Welcome to Gunship! The soviets have attacked America launching the two countries into World War 3 and only you can end it. Can you stop the soviet union from enacting there dreams of worldwide communism? Only you can play to find out!

In Gunship you play the role of an American pilot sent on harrowing and dangerous missions into the heart of the Soviet Union after they have declared war on the United States. You missions are designed to stop the Soviet Union from continuing to wage war on U.S and freedom and democracy itself! 

Note: this is merely a demo not the full project.

For the full project expect 5 action packed levels filled with a variety of enemies and environments!

Tips:

keep an eye out for pickups they can refill missiles, repair your helicopter and  top off your fuel.

Keep an eye on both health and fuel if either one hits zero you lose.

Your helicopter is divided into 3 parts the fuselage, weapons and cockpit

Each of these has debuffs to the helicopter if damaged

Controls:

mouse: causes helicopter to face where ever the mouse is pointing

W: moves helicopter forward

S: moves helicopter backward

A: moves helicopter leftward

D:moves helicopter rightward

click: shoots normal projectiles

spacebar: shoots missile  (missile count in upper right corner)

Tab: pause game

F1: brings up overhead map

F2: used to bring up options menu to adjust volume during level
